RunFloat

Running economy (RE) is a critical factor in running performance, and biomechanics play a significant role in determining RE. Arm biomechanics have been shown to be important in running efficiency. Research has indicated that arm swing plays an integral role in an individual's running technique, and suppressing arm swing can alter lower limb biomechanics and kinetics, ultimately affecting running efficiency (Moore, 2016). A nifty new training tool is on the market for those with sloppy arm mechanics and/or poor posture. @floatrunning have created a simple harness to cue an efficient arm motion while on the run. Simple, but quite effective, this training aid is worth trying.  Optimizing arm biomechanics is essential for improving running efficiency and overall performance. It might make you feel like you’re floating!
