Belfry Hockey NHL & Olympic Camp

And what a week it was! Over 40 of the best hockey players in the world gathered in Fort Myers, FL to learn and share their thoughts about skills in the game. Three hours of daily ice time pushed athletes both physically and mentally. New skills were introduced and rehearsed. Innovative strategies, footwork, scoring techniques were just a few items on the agenda. All sessions were filmed and analyzed for each individual player. Players thoroughly enjoyed learning from Darryl Belfry, the skill master himself. Alongside him was Adam Nichols, the ever enthusiastic skill samurai.

Both the men’s and women’s camp included a summit to discuss skills and strategies to elevate their collective play. Every player had a chance to contribute to the dynamic discussions. Subsequent practices reinforced what was highlighted during the meetings. It was an impressive display of hockey knowledge and perspective from the best in the game.

Some of the top therapists in the game were on hand to address the player’s needs throughout the high intensity week. Many players took advantage of the treatments which allowed them to keep pushing the pace.

The camps ended with a shooting display that frazzled goalies & dazzled coaches. It was clearly evident the players had an incredible experience and were grateful for the opportunity to participate.

Athletic Wise was there to help with select athletes and support the camps overall. It was truly a pleasure to take part in such a phenomenal & unique event. The athletes were off the charts!!
