Gear Review: Checkme BP2A
Following up with our suggestion to track blood pressure (BP) regularly, we’ve tested one of the more popular digital in-home BP monitors on the market, the CheckMe BP2A. The manufacturer boasts capturing two different readings that are integrated to provide the most precise measurement. Results of numerous comparative intakes with various other competing models proved it to be both accurate and reliable. The unit isn’t much bigger or heavier than a phone and the cuff fits the typical adult (22-42cm). The device is easy to read and to use. It’s equipped with built-in Bluetooth allowing a hassle-free wireless connection. It comes with a rechargeable lithium battery that is said to last 500 measurements. The previous 50 readings are maintained in storage and conveniently an associated very intuitive app makes it possible to record even more historical data. The app also allows multiple users enabling an entire family to make use of and track BP long term. For all the aforementioned reasons, we give this unit top marks.
